The trips

Half day, full day, or just coming along. We work out the programme together.

Leaving the harbour at dawn, rods up and the sun rising

Half day

We leave at dawn and come back around lunchtime. It’s the right trip in spring, when the little tunny bite on spinning gear only early in the morning, and for the relaxed kinds of fishing: cuttlefish, and mackerel on light trolling with the kids. A few hours, but full ones.

Full day

Tuna takes the whole day. In the morning we go and catch the live bait, then from midday we set up on the drift and wait for it. Or we combine: spinning at dawn, and when the morning action ends we switch to drifting or to bottom fishing on the wrecks. It’s the trip for anyone who wants the complete fishing day.

Coming along

Anyone coming with someone who fishes is welcome on board, even without a rod in hand: the coast seen from the sea, and the dolphins if they show up.

Tailor-made

I’m not one to leave with a written programme and never change it. If I see feeding activity along the way, fish hunting on the surface, I head for it: the best fishing is often the one the sea offers you that day. If you have a specific kind of fishing in mind, tell me and we’ll prepare it. If you don’t, we’ll choose it together based on the season.

How many

It depends on the fishing. Drifting is comfortable with three. Spinning and bottom fishing with four or five. On the mackerel trip with children and teenagers we can be a few more. We’ll settle on the right number when you message me.

What’s included

Rods, reels, bait, all the gear you need: I have it, for every kind of fishing. If you have your own rods and prefer to use them, bring them along.

What to bring

A cap, sunglasses and a jacket, depending on the season. Food and drink: everyone brings their own, so nobody ends up on board with something they can’t eat.

Who it’s for

If you’ve never fished, you’re welcome, in fact: I like teaching, and I’ll give you the tips. Children and teenagers too, the mackerel trip is made for them. Anyone who doesn’t fish but wants to come along with someone who does will find a place.

The weather

The day before I look at the sea and confirm. If it’s not a good day, we move it: I don’t go out at all costs, and in rough sea you don’t fish well anyway. Sometimes, if offshore is out but close to shore is fine, we give sea bass a try.

What it costs

It depends on the formula, the duration and the number of people. There’s no price list: message me and I’ll reply the same day.

Tell me when you want to go out

On WhatsApp or through the form. Tell me when, how many, and what kind of fishing you’d like to do.
