What we catch

Techniques and seasons of the Adriatic off Romagna.

Our sea

The Adriatic off Romagna is shallow, it doesn’t have the depth of the Tyrrhenian. Bottom fishing here is done on the wrecks, not in the deep. In return it has clear-cut seasons, and if you know them you know what to expect every month.

The techniques

Spinning

Little tunny at dawn in spring, dolphinfish, bonito, tuna, bluefish, sea bass close to shore. The fishing I love most.

Drifting

Fishing for bluefin tuna. We prepare the live bait, then we wait with the rods in the water. No two are the same.

Trolling

Coastal and offshore, slow or fast, with lures or live bait. With light trolling we go for mackerel, the right fishing for beginners and for the kids.

Bottom fishing

On the wrecks for scorpionfish, forkbeard and bottom fish. For gilthead bream at anchor or close to shore.

Cuttlefish

The most relaxed fishing there is, in spring.
